Shame on you

Shame on you CTV - the actions of 5 hereditary chiefs are affecting the economy of Canada & you bury the news of the PM saying the “ barricades must come down “ in the muddle of your news!!! Shame on you that you consider news about a moose in NL to be more important!! What has happened to your “investigative “ reporters - why aren’ t they asking questions like “who is paying the protesters?” Are you trying to become the National Enquirer of news reporting?? Very disappointing.

Much preferred the previous version. Will be exploring other news apps.

Auto Popup Videos

Good to get CTV Canadian news directly without going through a social media or search engine tech giant. However, when clicking on a notification to silently READ an article I expect to READ an advertisement; an unexpected unmuted video popup is intrusive, aggressive, and can be embarrassing. I see no setting to change this behaviour. Until this is modified I will not be using this app. Data collection and privacy with apps is also concerning. Be better- give Canadians a reason to want to go directly to you.
