Wonderful App with a Slightly Restrictive Free Plan

I love Mindomo! I have since like middle school.

I work with taxonomy a lot both in my studies and just for fun, and Mindomo’s tree organigrams make for an easy and extremely user-friendly medium for making cladograms. I don’t often make any other kind of graph with this software, but I do use it very frequently for that specific purpose.

My only real gripe is that the in-app purchases are a little restrictive. If I remember correctly: without paying for the subscription you can only make a small number of graphs, and you can’t transfer graphs between accounts or devices. When I first used this software I got it for free through my school, and I remember how incredibly stressed I was when I graduated and couldn’t transfer all of my work to a personal account. For me at least the subscription is pretty much necessary, but if you’re just using it to map your thoughts then the free version is probably okay.
(Note I may be misremembering the features of the free version slightly, I’ve been using the paid version for a very long time now)

Our mobile app is free to use in the Device section, where diagrams are stored directly on your device (local storage). Upgrading to a paid plan for the Cloud section is optional and offers benefits like syncing diagrams to the cloud, accessing them from other devices, and unlocking additional features.
