With ČSOB Smart you have the whole bank and insurance company in your mobile.
You are not a client yet? It is not a problem, you can become one right in the app – opening a current account takes only few minutes.
Why it is great to have ČSOB Smart:
1. Your money is safe, it is protected not only by your bank identity, but also by Face ID or Touch ID.
2. You always know how much money you have, both in your current and savings account, and even on investments account.
3. It makes payments easy, even invoice payment, thanks to the possibility to scan it from a QR code.
4. You have a perfect control of accounts, mortgages, loans, insurance and other ČSOB products.
5. You can change your card limit, display forgotten PIN code, or temporarily lock the card, and it all takes no time.
6. It allows you to easily arrange a loan, savings, investments, travel insurance and other products.
7. Here you may manage your insurance contracts, report an insurance event and monitor its handling progress. You can also find here your insurance documents, such as your Green Card.
8. You can customize it according to your needs, adjust the order of the products or set the dark mode of an app.

Ratings and Reviews
The last update creates Application Error
Since the last update I am unable to log into the app. It writes “Application error. Failed to load data from the server. Please restart the application.” Guess what? Recommended activity does not help. It seems to me I would need to get the app removed and install it again. This should be considered as a potential improvement for the next release.

Worse with every UI update
Not quite sure how they manage to keep doing so, but with every UI update they somehow manage to make user experience way worse. Note that it was already terrible to begin with, so this is quite an achievement. 90s graphics? Check. UI elements randomly sliding out in all directions? Check. Useless UI elements blocking half of screen and obscuring the useful ones? Check. Big button to bring up glorified FAQ (Kate) that you will use exactly once (just to realise how useless it is)? Check. Like seriously, isn't there single soul within your development team who knows at least basics of UI/UX design? And if there really isn't, please stop touching things you don't understand. Go to meeting instead. Schedule followups. Talk about KPIs. Anything but further reducing this apps usability.
Edit: tried to setup recurring payment through this app. Failed twice (login failed when returning to app from smart key). Ultimately had to set it through internet banking instead. Ugly and useless are the words best describing this app.

Hmm
Nice app but 3 things. Would appreciate option to skip or remind me later about update. Not giving user option to skip update is bad practice as sometimes you need to urgently use the app instead app forces user to update app. You also might have slow connection and update will not go through at current location with slow mobile network. Not all users have enabled automatic updates by choice. Second point: Kate - please remove it. Or give option to remove or disable it. Takes space, is useless whenever I tried it. Lastly Kate throws many on screen notifications. Why :)? Why not give user option to disable it in the app and than free app space in UI? 3rd point: you added categories for transactions but im unable to see some totals for individual categories. any plan to show aggregate data for transaction categories? Maybe some chart of expenses showing individual categories?
