Great platform!
Been using BeatStars for over two years now! Amazing platform for upcoming and established artists alike! Can’t really fault it apart from I’d like a separate feed just for new uploads by people I follow, unfortunately the feed is always spammed with people you follow reposting stuff, I’d like to see an upload feed added not just everything mashed into one. Also when using the search bar, it’s not very accurate when using hashtags. Apart from that brilliant app and I’ll continue to use it. I would Highly recommend for Producers and Rappers! Most of my beats have been purchased here, check me out? (Soundcloud - 6threemusic)

Terrible App - Great Platform
Beatstars the service is a game changer for independent musicians - artists and producers alike. Beatstars the iOS app is one of the most frustrating, slow, buggy apps I have ever had to regularly use. Between artists profiles / playlists loading incorrectly or not at all, songs endlessly buffering to no end and having to log in again every single to time the app is launched - I’ve found it’s better to simply not use this app at all.
This is however a huge shame and a huge loss for Beatstars. Mobile apps are becoming the most used platform for services like this and to have one so poorly developed and maintained can be nothing short of embarrassing.
Hope to see the app reach the potential it deserves to one day! Until then I’ll stick to the desktop website.
