Great game

That’s a great game! It offers fast paced action or an almost stealth like game play, depending on what you prefer. Different characters offer different difficulty levels. All in all a great game. I especially love the Anti-Aliasing setting, they make the game even better 😁
One little flaw has the game though, and that’s, unfortunately, the controls. The game does not (yet?) Support gamepads. The in-game controls are improved now, but you still have to press the most buttons to get a response, just sliding to ”jump” will unfortunately not do it.

Everything I’ve wanted on iPhone.

I don’t really play mobile games, but this game is literally everything I have ever wanted in a mobile game. The music alone is incredible and I’m happy to listen to it over and over again. The gameplay is very fun and the ability to level up your characters and unlock weapons and gear makes for a great experience. Not to mention the 3 different modes with vast levels within different provinces to say.

Although it does not come without its faults, I have not as of yet experienced any crashes on iPhone 11 Pro Max so performance is solid on my behalf. Some of the UI mechanics could be made clearer, such as informing you that you can change characters, I didn’t know until I reached level 12 on the standard settings the game loads up with. Also maybe some controller size customisations, the D-Pad on my screen has the top left diagonal button peering of the screen slightly although it still functions.

Maybe some more options of weapons and gear would be nice too down the line. But as of now I really am enjoying the time with the game. As far as paid mobile games go this game is headed in a great direction. Thank you!

Hey! Thanks for the review and the kind words. Note that as of the last version you should be able to customize the controls - pop-up the in-game options menu (tap the portrait on the upper left corner) and should allow you to position the d-pad appropriately. Let us know if its not the case please!

Hugely addictive

Action, yes, but also tactics and all dressed up in great looking and super detailed pixel art graphics. Very little gets explained to you - you’re left to experiment and discover how to switch troops, unlock weapons and kit, and find out which characters and guns suit your play style.

There are loads of levels with varying objectives, and a huge amount of content, complete with a star rating for each level encouraging you to go back and 3-star everything. Genuinely one of the most complete and involving mobile games I’ve played in a long while. Very highly recommended.
