Ratings and Reviews
The best wildlife ID and recording app
Love this app I have been using it for quite a few years have have submitted over 4000 records.
I love the auto ID on ‘what did you see’ it’s incredible, and my favourite thing is you can upload a photo when you get home and it pulls the geo-location from your sighting in to the app instead of having to search where you were on a map retroactively. I’ve checked with the local recorded centres I’ am near and they can also access my records to add on to the local database which is excellent news for conservation and monitoring, although I’m not sure all record centres do have access.
My favourite app!
Amazing nature resource
This app makes it easy to upload and automatically identify so many species of flora and fauna. I’m always amazed by how good the recommended IDs are, and there is also a lovely community of people who often suggest IDs for things you’re a bit stuck on. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in their surroundings while out walking or even just sitting in the garden. I’m learning a lot about local fungi by using this app. The best thing is that your observations can also help out with scientific studies without you having to do anything extra.
Love it 🍃
Great app, truly love having it. Amazing how reliable the identification is. One feature I would love to see though is being able to search for certain species to see if there’s any sighted in your area, and being able to have your own private projects, basically like folders. So for example, having your garden be a “project” so you can keep a proud eye on sightings for a certain area with a boundary.
