- Profile bio length limits now match server post limits
- Updated post privacy labels to match the website
- When replying to a post, the shift key is enabled by default so the first character typed is uppercase
- Images are no longer shown in the timeline for content warning posts which now matches the website experience
- Genmoji and Memoji are now selectable when creating a post, but display as an image
- When switching accounts in the post compose view, the default post privacy of that account is now updated
- Improvements made so chance of huge data stored in iCloud backups is decreased
- Can now ctrl-tab to access the username/hashtag picker in the compose view to quickly select an option
- Fixed a bug where the smart quotes setting in Ivory wasn’t respecting the system preference
- Fixed keyboard issues in the notifications tab

Tweetbot was long the only thing that made twitter really usable (especially after twitter started messing with recommender systems and ads on its main feed). Now all that experience makes mastodon almost useable. I hope tapbots figure out how to create fake quote toots like they made fake edits on twitter. It would be awesome if they could also figure out how to help you edit the links on a thread. But their analysis and editing tools are just great. Ivory actively helps you keep up with the changes as mastodon starts becoming a more real platform.
Is Ivory worth what it costs? No, it's worth a lot more than that.
Easy to use and well designed
Ivory is easy to use, performs well, and is a very pleasing way to interact with Mastodon and the Fediverse. I like that it is under active development with regular updates. It has kept me connected to Mastodon on both my mac and my iPhone. I particularly like the 'Tweetdeck' layout for the mac and hope that further development is done to make it more Tweetdeck like in the future (horizontal scrolling when displaying lots of columns perhaps?)
Perfect
Simply such an improvement for using Mastodon. Simplicity of use and effectiven operation is so much better than the Mastodon app itself. Like Tweetbot, I wonder why developers of the original apps (Twitter, Mastodon, Instagram, etc) never manage to create such an ergonomic, effective and efficient app interface in the first place.
Thank you Tapbots for creating this app and very much looking forward to the Mac version (and an Instagram app in the future, hopefully !)
