Ratings and Reviews
This new update is amazing!
The new Mario Kart sets are going to be really amazing when get them and try them for myself. And they even updated the app to have 2 Player Versus alongside 2 Player Co-op! Me and my cousin tried to see how many coins we could possibly get and we got 235 yesterday! That’s our second personal best! Our top personal best was 330. Plus I would want in the future for there to be an 8-bit screen recorder so we can see how many what enemies were defeating, what powerups we have, what environments we’re in and to take a picture of the
level before playing it so the app can take this in and picture an Super Mario Bros-ish version with some sprites from Super Mario World like Yoshi, Baby Yoshi, Sumo Bro mixed with Chain Chomp, Boom Boom and Koopaling Super Mario Bros. 3 sprites, New Super Mario Bros. Bowser Jr. sprites and Super Mario Bros. 2 Bob-omb sprites in future updates
Latest update has killed the app
Since the latest update I am unable to open the app. It starts up but I am then left with 3 flashing dots on the start pipe forever. No matter how long I wait it never allows me to enter the app. I have tried to log out and in again but that doesn’t help. I really do not want to uninstall the app as I have nearly all the released sets added and built as well as loads of “courses” photographed and saved my son has built. The app has worked perfectly since the very first starter set was released but now is useless.
UPDATE. By logging out at the title screen, restarting the app and waiting for the ‘start’ green pipe to come up I am now able to enter the app again and all data has been retained fortunately. I am able to login successfully from the ‘connect Mario’ screen and it then says synced successfully.
However this brings me to a major flaw in the app and syncing with a Lego account. When I log in with the same account on another phone or iPad absolutely no data is transferred over. The app just wants to start from scratch with no sets added and no saved courses. What is the point in having an account and login if it can’t even do a basic transfer between devices? At least give the option to backup the data to iCloud so it can be moved from one device to another!

That shouldn't be happening! 🤔 We'd recommend checking our website at LEGO.build/MarioHelp-Apple, where we've listed the most common fixes. Also, make sure to have enough storage on your device and that all the background apps are closed. 🔧 Still stuck? You may need to perform a factory reset. Our experts at LEGO.build/Service-Apple will be happy to help you with that! 📞 - Elisa, LEGO® Customer Service
Won’t let me start
It’s a very good app very easy steps it’s just that whenever it’s says get creative and make your own track it won’t let me do any thing if I try to get out nothing still there which makes the app POINTLESS as if you log out and back in again it’s still there and you can’t get out of that screen. As a bonus when ever I connect either Luigi or Mario to the app it just disconnects straight away making the app again pointless as there is a step where you have to connect in order to do the rest of the instructions making the app once again pointless. Which means you can’t build but YOU NEED THE APP AS THE INSTUCTIONS DONT EVEN HAVE INSTRUCTIONS IT JUST TAKES YOU TO THE APP. So you can never and I MEAN NEVER make the obstacle course which is why I would really appreciate if you could also make the instructions on the actual instruction on a piece of paper ( like any other Lego build) rather than a link to your app . Which again may I remind you doesn’t work for me!
Developer Response ,
We’re sorry for this experience and appreciate the feedback. 🙂 Visit LEGO.build/DeviceCheck-Apple to confirm if your device is compatible. If so, we ask that you uninstall and reinstall the app. 📲 If you're still having trouble get in touch at LEGO.build/Service-Apple so we can help! 📞 You can also find PDF instructions at LEGO.build/BI71360-Apple if that's what you'd prefer! ✨ - Jane, LEGO® Customer Service
