- Improved the Japanese translation.
- Players no longer need to pay Gold Coin Fruit when resetting the P-Organ in the train after starting next playthroughs.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the attack speed increase effect of the weapon 'Frozen Feast' would not apply under certain situations.
- Fixed a bug where switching weapons would occasionally not work as intended while using the weapon 'Proof of Humanity'.
- Fixed a bug where using the 'Proof of Humanity' weapon's Special Attack after using a Grindstone would cause the attribute effects to be ineffective.
- Fixed a bug where 'Nameless Puppet' would intermittently disappear.
- Fixed a bug in the 'Alter Handle' menu where the handle and materials could be changed in the confirmation window.
- Fixed a bug where a certain elevator and lever in 'Arche Abbey' would intermittently spawn in an unintended area.
- Fixed a bug where players could fall into an impassable area.
- Fixed bugs related to certain in-game UI.
- Fixed typos in certain dialogues.
Ratings and Reviews
Extremely Hard Game
I would say to anyone who is not an experienced gamer that they should avoid this game. The difficulty level is set very high and seeing yourself constantly die and feeling you are unable to make any progress is extremely frustrating. I will however continue to try and make progress and if the game should suddenly click I will come back and upgrade my score here.
Having said all the above if you persevere you are likely to start finding that you make progress and once that begins the game opens up. As the game is hard the sense of achievement you feel when you find yourself moving deeper into the game is really high.
I'm really enjoying it now i'm starting to get onto it. 4 stars at the moment, thinking og uping that to the full 5.
Lies of P achievments
The game runs great on mac m2 max, It would have been perfect if it had Game Center Achievments included in the game like other AAA games. Achievments like Playstation Trophies give the game a more complete experience
Hard but good
This game is amazing, wonderful world building, an amazing story, so much content and will make you want to replay it all over again.
Playing on a M1 Macbook Air I was scared this game would not hold up to standard, but after playing through it twice the performance was a very minimal issue. My Macbook, after a fwe hours of playing, would cause lagspikes in the game and the frame rate would drop. This would be a sign to turn of the game and take a break, and return once my laptop had cooled down. Wish I could play for the first time again, can't wait for the DLC and sequel!
