Longleaf Valley: Merge Game 4+

Brilliant game

I absolutely love this game. I have been playing it for quite a while and never get bored with it. The one thing I find really annoying and patronising is when the board s full a message keeps coming up on every move until you got several clear spaces saying the board is full. Us players are not thick, we know the board is full and know we got to make space. Please, please, please get rid of this annoying and unnecessary addition to the game. I used to enjoy the seaside challenge but it looks like it’s not going to come up again.
I’ve always liked that playing this game was a way of helping plant trees around the world. The last ew week’s however the challenges we play to try to get birds, fish, and other animals have also turned into getting to plant more trees. Don’t get me wrong I’m up for planting lot’s of trees around the world but I think us players should have something to aim for to have because I have halve gotten ones on my itinerary board from the past that cannot be matched. Please give us players something to aim for.

Thank you for the 5 stars! Thanks also for reporting the board full notification, that can definitely get annoying - we've now fixed this so the notification is less frequent.

UPDATED REVIEW: I can no longer play because all of the items to be collected come from a generator that I’ve yet to find. No answer from Support despite having written twice. So… WHEN and HOW does a player get the Buzzing Bees generator? Until I get that, the game is completely unplayable apart from picking up the daily gifts.

Original review: This games promises that the trees you win actually DO get planted. Having not played for long, I’ve only “planted” 3 trees so far, but every little helps, right? They say they’ve planted over 2 million trees so far. I’ve yet to find positive proof of this.
The game itself is cute. A matching game (match 2 to make the next level of each item) which has a whole load of different items that you get from ‘producers’. The energy does go down quite quickly, but it does allow a good half hour of play without spending money (which I don’t do). You also have the option of watching adverts to speed up production or gain gift boxes, energy, etc. The story is also cute, but each conversation is SO short, it’s a little frustrating. You then have to go back to the game board and earn another few hundred leaves to get to the next snippet of conversation. That’s the only reason why 4 stars.

This game respects your time and wallet!

Not only is this the most fun and fairly made merge game I’ve played but there are no ads unless you decide yourself to watch ads for extra in game currency or items, very fairly done and the app never crashes or freezes either! You get 200 energy cap to play with rather than 100 like most other games, so it’s even more friendly towards people like me who don’t spend!
And to top it all off, I’m planting trees in real life as part of my progress in game, this really is just the best merge game all round!
Nothing predatory about the cash shop like other games, I’m getting a nice couple hours of gameplay each day without having to spend, it’s really just so well made!
Huge shout out to all the people who made this game you’ve done an amazing job, big pat on the back from me!
