Good but won't work with Keynote presentations
I have used this for teaching screencasts & recorded in QuickTime. Worked well.

√ Customisable shortcut key.
√ Nice choice of shapes to appear in.
√ Adjustable window size.
√ Aesthetic controls (e.g., border width & shadow)
√ Good on privacy (no data collected).
√ 8 possible display locations to appear in.
X Probably an unavoidable macOS feature but you can't overlay Mirror Magnet on top of a Keynote presentation. This was the main intended purpose, for me. Is there a way that this could be recorded in QuickTime so that it could be added afterwards in iMovie/Final Cut Pro?
X It would be useful to have keyboard shortcuts for the 8 locations (e.g., number pad keys would map on perfectly). Maybe with a graceful swish, rather than abrupt jump..? This is because sometimes you end up covering up something that you need to show in the screencast.
Doesn’t work
The app opens and makes all the adjustments in the app, however this has zero effect on the web camera in any other apps. No effect on the web cam in MS teams, face time, zoom etc.
