Supreme Service = Absolute #1 Password Manager

I used RoboForm many years ago and seeking something better tried all of the alleged ‘top rated’ Password Managers. A return to RoboForm several years ago is the smartest move I have ever made. Over the last few years Customer Service has really surged ahead. Communication is dealt with via the Users personal/private portal. Ask a question raise a problem and it is sorted within a very short period of time.
This system is so efficient and dealt with by RoboForm experts who are friendly. This is a far cry from Forum based support where it seems Developers never visit to offer assistance. It also removes the need to Wade through masses of misinformation and other public On-Line issues.
The main reason I returned to RoboForm was, at that time, no other developer had the capability to access several web sites and Log In with a single click. Workarounds offered were appalling.
RoboForm is exceedingly capable, flexible and user friendly, backed up by THE best Customer Service that is probably better than any other within the industry.
I assure you that this is my honest opinion base on personal experience. I have no connection with RoboForm other than as a very satisfied customer.
Looking for THE best Password Manager, then come and join me.

Master password

If this pw is lost the process to recover is far too difficult - you know you have a copy and I know you have a copy so let it be challenged with security processes - for you to withhold the use of my purchased product is unacceptable and at the time Robo was set up it was not fully clear what damage the loss of the master pw would cause. Suggest you reconsider your options - I always like to place my Mum in this situation of having a virus which invaded Robo access and lost the master pw -

So keep it simple and effective as a provider and provide a user relationship of trust

Because your Master Password does not transmit to our servers, we have no way of knowing what it is and subsequently no way of accessing your data. Absolute rubbish

### Review Title: Disappointed and Frustrated with RoboForm

I have been using RoboForm for six months without any issues, and it was functioning perfectly, storing all my passwords securely. However, my experience took a drastic turn for the worse recently. One morning, out of the blue, the application asked me for a master password, which I never set up in the first place. To make matters worse, when I tried to log in using my old login credentials, nothing worked.

The real frustration began when I learned that in order to reset this so-called master password, I would lose all my saved passwords. This is a terrible design flaw. Why should I, as a loyal user, be subjected to such unnecessary stress? I have stored around 100 passwords in RoboForm, and now I am faced with the prospect of losing them all because of a system glitch or oversight that is not my fault.

This experience feels like cheating. It's unacceptable to impose such a critical issue on users without providing a clear and effective resolution. I expected better from RoboForm, and this situation has severely damaged my trust in the service. I sincerely hope the developers address this issue promptly and find a way to recover my saved passwords without forcing a reset that results in data loss. Until then, I cannot recommend this application to anyone who values their password security and peace of mind.

Hello and thank you for this feedback. During the initial account creation you would have selected a Master Password. This is a requirement of creating the account. As a part of our security model, this is your encryption key and we do not have access to it. To make unlocking easier, we allow logging in via FaceID or PIN, and so it's possible you never had to enter your Master Password. Please note that if you have FaceID enabled, you ARE able to restore access to your account without your data being deleted.
