Just what’s needed for text.
Having tried many of the text editors for iOS and looking for the BBEdit of iOS I thought I just wasn’t going to get there.
Then I stumbled on Textastic and it’s fantastic. Does everything i need and much more I’ll probably never need.
Recently I was sent a file which everything else declared as being unopenable but Textastic just fired it up like it was a regular txt file.
Good selection of customisations and all the useful things like copy/paste between iOS and MacOS just work. It’s a really versatile and useful tool.
Good, but new pricing is utterly ridiculous
I paid £10 for this app because I had heard great things about it. I did enjoy it but the new pricing is disgusting. 700% price increase is INSANE!!! Sure I keep access to current features... but maybe not future ones. Please revert the pricing model to the original, I really like this app and I'd rather not pay an extra £70 for new features.

I understand that you need to make money in order to continue developing the app, I also understand I keep access to *current* features. That means I might not have access to future features, and I'd have to pay a further £70. You could easily just make it so I'd have to pay £60, but I feel like people who have already paid for the app should have all features, current and future.

Great app!
This app is exactly what I was looking for. Being able to access my own local/iCloud directories and add the folder to the app is very useful. I can now mount the directory with my whole website and easily make changes. What’s also very useful is the “Preview in Safari” feature, which really makes it handy when developing a website. App is very responsive with many good themes. Highly recommended!
