Incomparable to every other todo list app

I have used every todo list app I can get my hands on. Well, hands down this is the best todo list app I have ever used. I can’t believe how well the logic behind the app works! Not only does it have options that toggle to become exactly what I am looking for, it’s so customizable that you can get it to work the way you work. Do you need things to be in different lists? Done. Do you need due dates? Finished. Repeat by due date finished or date complete? Can’t believe I have never seen it before. I am not exaggerating: I was so frustrated that I was setting out to program my own todo list app so that I can finally get the features I want. Well, guess what? Now I am more than happy to have to pay for it! It has about 90% overlap with the functionality that I was wanting for my own app. And they take feedback seriously. I already had one of my suggestions passed onto the development team! And don’t worry, TickTick, I have plenty more to send your way. I’ll just be sure to have it on a separate list with tags and a repeating every two weeks task to keep it from overstaying my welcome! 5/5 stars, never looking again, finally.

Thought it was the best... until I reached the top 4-6%... then??? No!!!

I’d been using TickTick for years & really thought it was the best out there... I shared it with my business partner and she agreed, we both felt increasingly motivated and it was great to see myself relentlessly climbing through the leaderboards... until I got in the top 4-6%, then, no matter how much I ramped up my use of the app... over a period of 4-6months the best I could do was watch myself gradually go down in the ratings. It became totally unworkable, it was literally a case of me using the app so much to try to keep moving against what appeared to be a relentlessly defeating tide... that it really started to impinge on my workload & I had to stop. Which is a shame because until then it was the best app out there, and I have yet to find another which I am as happy to work with.
Shame guys... just as you think, after two or three years, you are about to win the grand, super achiever prizes... the earth starts slipping away like mud beneath your feet and you’re spending waaaay too much time to even stay in one place. I hope they’ve fixed that up now... but otherwise, I’m looking elsewhere.
