- Our patent-pending in-house automated resizing system allows us to store full 8K wallpapers on our online database, stream the 8K preview to you and then specifically download your chosen wallpaper portion at your device’s native resolution. Can I still use the wallpapers even after I am not subscribed anymore?

Great, but much AI

There are many stunning wallpaper packs available at great price! I appreciate the option to download in full 8K resolution, making them perfect for desktop use. However, the fact that a lot of the content is AI-generated is a significant drawback for me. Some packs show noticeable AI artifacts, and while some people enjoy these images (and I do too), it feels somewhat lazy. Additionally, the description claims that the images are all handcrafted, which is misleading. I greatly value wallpapers created by individual artists. It would be helpful to clearly label AI-generated content, as this would give more recognition to those creators who invest time and effort into crafting unique, detailed designs with their own creativity.

Thank you for your review. I can confirm that our approach towards AI is letting each designer decide if they want to use AI in their work or not. Currently, we've only got 6 packs that have used AI, out of the 120+ packs in WallpaperZ.

Additionally, we do not allow "AI generated wallpapers" but rather "AI enhanced wallpapers". Each of those 6 packs, has been hand corrected and manually fixed to improve to remove imperfections and improve the quality. Therefore, whilst some artefacts may remain in those cases, they have all taken a considerable amount of time from the designers to manually fix and improve (multiple hours or days, per wallpaper).

Hope this clarifies our stance on AI. At the end of the day, we want to empower creators to use the tools that they want, whilst delivered a high-quality result for users like yourselves. If there is anything else we can do to improve our quality, please do not hesitate to let us know.
