So far so good

Honestly i was just here for the gacha at first, the release rewards are very generous, thank you so much!!
The story is also really interesting, character dynamics between the Tansy siblings and Nanna are so cute tho the scene where we lay on Nanna’s laps caught me really off guard but hey.!
The effects for all the characters are also really pretty. I struggle to see the difference between 4* and 5* characters though, they all have beautiful effects though please don’t change that..

Now for my complaint.. maybe its just me but this phone is relatively new, works well for lots of games but for Black Beacon, I don’t know if its delayed or what but i can tap the same button multiple times and still get no response from the game aside from, yk, it telling me im pressing the option. I have to wait for a few seconds before something finally registers and that’s what compelled me to even write a review so yeah, it just released though, just hoping this issue’s fixed soon.!

Disrespects playerbase

It’s not uncommon for a game to launch first in a region and launch in later regions after addressing bugs in the launch region. In this case “global” was the launch region, and the launch was one of the buggiest gacha launches I’ve experienced personally. The compensation was bare minimum, but passable. However, when later launching in China (devs home region) they had smaller bugs receive exponentially better rewards including 5-star character selection tickets among other generous rewards. It’s extremely clear how different they are treating our region than the Chinese region. And I refuse to support, with play or finances, a game that has such treatment disparity between regions. Especially as it basically means we are the guinea pig region, where we get the bugs, we get the balance issues, next to no compensation, and then other regions get the polished/balanced experience. Do not install.

Will change review to reflect if they ever address this discrepancy or do anything to fix it. Gameplay is okay, but there are a lot of games in this space and you should give your time and money to a game with a developer that cares about you and your wallet and time.
