Erstellen und speichern Sie mit der Leica Hunting App ihre persönlichen ballistischen Profile und wählen sie dabei aus einer Datenbank mit über 4500 Munitionen. Ihr derzeit verwendetes Profil übertragen sie ganz einfach auf ihren Leica Entfernungsmesser.
Füllen Sie Ihr ballistisches Profil mit Inhalt wie Name, verwendete Munition und Waffe. Dadurch haben sie immer den perfekten Überblick über ihr jagdliches Setup.
Nutzen sie die Leica Hunting App um ihren Leica Entfernungsmesser ganz bequem über das Smartphone zu programmieren. Wählen sie alle verfügbaren Einstellungen aus und übertragen sie ihre Daten unkompliziert via Bluetooth.
Folgende Geräteeinstellungen können ganz bequem am Smartphone Display ausgewählt werden:
- Metrisch/Imperial
- Das gewünschte Ballistik Profil
- Einschussentfernung
- Ballistik Einstellungen
- Display Helligkeit
Mit nur einem Knopfdruck werden alle Einstellungen sofort auf ihrem Leica Entfernungsmesser übernommen.
Darüber hinaus können sie im Menüpunkt Ballistik zwischen vier Unterpunkten wählen:
Legen Sie sich zuerst ihre gewünschten Profile an. Für jede Waffe ein Profil, so müssen sie keine Anpassungen mehr im Profil vornehmen und können jederzeit während der Jagd das passende Profil auswählen und übertragen. Um immer auf der sicheren Seite zu sein, zeigt ihnen der Leica Entfernungsmesser das derzeit übertragene Profil auch auf einen Knopfdruck an.
Diese Punkte sind im Ballistik Menu enthalten:
- Standard: Wählen Sie eine der 12 vorprogrammierten EU 1 –EU 12 Kurven aus oder lassen sie sich die passende Kurve vorschlagen
- Datenbank: Erstellen Sie eine neue Kurve mit Hilfe der über 4500 Datensätze aus unserer Datenbank. Wählen Sie ihr Kaliber, den Hersteller und das Geschoss
- Eigene: Erstellen sie für die ultimative Präzession ihre völlig individuelle ballistische Kurve unter Verwendung von Gewicht, Geschossgeschwindigkeit, ballistische Koeffizienten, Meereshöhe, Luftdruck, Einschussdistanz, Temperatur und Absehenhöhe
- Kestrel: Verbinden Sie ihren CRF 2800.COM mit einem Kestrel Elite Windmesser und erhalten sie so einen vollen Zugang zu „Applied Ballistics“, die entsprechenden Korrekturwerte werden zusätzlich im Leica Entfernungsmesser Display angezeigt.
Alle relevanten Menüpunkte werden Ihnen in einer kurzen Einleitungstour vorgestellt und erläutert.
Die Leica Hunting App verfügt über einen Tages und Nachtmodus, so ist ihr Smartphone Display immer perfekt an das Umgebungslicht angepasst.

Good concept, poor execution
What Leica is trying to do by allowing varying methods of getting ballistic curves into your rangefinder is great. However, when using the custom curve, it is near impossible to get a curve that matches up close to the actual.
A few suggestions:
1) Better functionality for creating a custom curve. Utilizing a g7 or having a bullet catalog.
2) A user manual for the app
3) Ability to switch between multiple custom curves in the rangefinder
4) Faster Bluetooth communication with Kestrel or the ability to transfer ballistic curve from kestrel to Leica app.
Worthless
Better off with plain rangefinder binoculars. I have older HD-B. It was a pain setting up micro sd card, and very limited—eg, only allowing 100, 200, 300 yard zero. App is even worse. 100 or 200 yard option, and it does not seem to share that with the binoculars. Manual says use the app. Cannot even switch settings on binoculars like I could with hd -b. The Zeiss app seemed clunky when I switched a couple years ago, but it is still vastly superior to the Leica app.
Buggy and Lots to be desired
1. The Bluetooth connection to device drops constantly after a couple minutes. Takes several tries to reconnect. App settings return to default after connection is lost.
2. No user manual at all. Your on your own figuring out how to use this app and create your ballistic profiles. What is mean sea level and absolute barometric pressure and how do you find these?!
3. App feedback doesn't work and when you try to send a message the app freezes.
4. This app hasn’t been updated in a year.
You spend all this money on a rangefinder and it’s companion app is almost unusable and definitely aggravating. Until things change it’s a solid 1 star.
