Review Lockly Home App & Win a Smart Safe

We really like the lock. Using the facial recognition it unlocks almost instantaneously, at least it recognizes an authorized user and unlocks before you can grab the door handle. Our front door is shaded by an overhang so I can’t say how well it would work with sun shining on the camera. The phone app is fairly easy to work through although my locksmith did have to assist with the initial setup. We are in our 60’s and not as tech savvy as those who grew up with computers so it probably would be simple for others. The only issue we had was the constant notifications about the door opening and closing. However I was able to figure out on my own how to disable that feature in the app. Will just need to remember to re enable it when we go out of town.

All things considered, it is easier to use and quieter than our previous lock BY FAR. We would recommend this lock to anyone interested in upgrading.

Great investment made!

I absolutely love this lock!! Not having to carry my keys when I take my dogs for a walk is so nice and don’t have to worry about losing them. Being able to add family members with Face ID instead of giving them a physical key (which they always seem to lose) is fantastic!! The ease of installing the lock and setting it all up on the phone took me about an hour. I’ve had ZERO issues since install. I really love the auto-lock feature since I sometimes forget to lock the door after walking the dogs. I feel more secure in and around my home since installing my lock. Customer for life!! Thank you Lockly

Frustration with Lockly ,

Poor quality of Customer Service.

I’ve had the device for two months now and still not able to get everything operating smoothly for myself and family members. I have contacted customer service multiple times (+10 times) and after waiting at least 15 minutes or more each time, they state they will call you back which usually takes place about 24-48 hours later when you are probably unavailable to work with the product. Even after finally being able to talk with agents, they can barely understand and speak English, then even after being transferred to more skilled technicians they can’t even help. Apparently I am now being transferred to another level of technician, and their estimated time to call back is 24-48 hours again. If I were to do it all over again and my wife would be ok with another brand, I’d return it immediately, nothing but an expensive piece of sh…lock only being able to be used with a physical key which is what we had before this overpriced lock.
