Description
The Macs Adventure app makes it easy to relax and enjoy your self-guided adventure with easy-to-use maps, detailed route descriptions, and your trip itinerary—all in one place.
Log in with your Macs account details to access:
• Detailed daily trip itinerary covering accommodation, activities, luggage transfer, equipment hire, and transfer information.
• Outdoor maps with daily route descriptions, elevation profiles, and visual GPS tracks for each day—fully downloadable for offline use.
• ‘Start route’ to track your progress, get notified if you stray off trail, and receive alerts when you're near your booked accommodation.
• Review your route and share your stats with friends, family, or the Macs community.
• Trip Info: curated insights about your route, region, and practical tips from our expert team.
Each downloadable walking or cycling track includes:
• Macs grading, estimated duration, distance, elevation profile, total elevation gain/loss
• A detailed track overview
• Points of interest and accommodation pinned to the map
• Reviews and ratings from other Macs Adventurers
No need to carry heavy paperwork—your digital trip pack includes:
• Daily itinerary and overview
• Accommodation contact details and reservation info
• Transfer and luggage transport details
• Equipment hire information and directions to key services
• Useful contacts and expert advice to help you get the most from your trip
Note: Continued use of GPS in the background can decrease battery life. We recommend taking a power bank, especially on longer routes.

Much improved
The latest update of the app is very, very good. Thank you! I wish the the maps section placed the maps in order of our hike (west to east). Either that, or allow the user to re-order them so the current one being used can be placed first. Other than that small tweak, the app update is great!
One week after the above comments, Macs Adventure fixed the issue and the maps are now presented in hiking order! Wonderful support and thanks for listening to your customer! I appreciate it.

Hi Rick, thanks for updating your review, and we're really happy that you're enjoying the updated app. We've also now resolved the issue with the ordering of the tracks, and we will be working on a way to surface the relevant information for a day's walking / cycling, like maps, transfer details etc. whilst you're on trip in a future release.

Great trail markings!
Having never hiked with Mac’s Adventures before, I was a little nervous about the trail markings. The trail was really well marked, and the map on our phone showed exactly where we were! Very easy to follow! Thank you!!

More choices
I’m on the Camino and the App has been great but it would be nice to have all the routes available for my walk with more details about each one. For example on the Camino Portuguese Coastal I constantly cross the Camino Portuguese Central and the other one that almost always stays on the coast. If I switch up, the map gets angry and starts buzzing, a good thing if your lost. However having the choice to mix the routes would
be a really nice.
