Excellent, but just my two cents.
Excellent! The lyrics. Some lyrics are wrong and they don’t follow along with the song. It’s normally two or even three lines ahead by the time you’re in the middle of the song, which makes it hard to follow along. Also, when you use it on a smart tv, when you search a song and want to play it, it plays it from the album which then plays after that song, even though you just wanted to listen to the song, not the album. This doesn’t happen on the mobile app, when you play a song, it is followed by something that the app recommends (which is always a banger). It would be great if the smart tv version could do that too. That’s it! Keep up the good work, fr.
False advertising
Why is it that music that has been downloaded for offline availability is sometimes unavailable when I am offline. When I connect to the internet, there’s always something downloading from the music that I have already downloaded and it’s not even clear what is downloading at the time!! This is costing me greatly because it is consuming my data bundle heavily, over and above the monthly premium subscription. Another thing that I find odd is that, on some of your playlists that have been curated from the music that I’ve downloaded, some of the songs appear as though they haven’t been downloaded when I am offline; what is the meaning of that? For an app that is so widely used and highly regarded, you would think that issues like this shouldn’t exist!! What are your developers doing? This app wasn’t created last month?!? What steps have you taken to resolve these issues? There’s always bug fixes to your updates but never an adequate resolution for this inconvenience
A few annoying features I wish could be added/ fixed
I would use this over Apple Music but there is so “smart people playlist” feature like with iTunes where you can make rules for a playlist and if a song satisfies them they are added, for example, if you make a rule to add songs to the playlist if they’ve been added in the last 2 months to make a “recently added” playlist. Would also be great if you could select multiple songs at once to add to a playlist instead of doing them all one by one - which is extremely frustrating. But I love the rest of the app, just wish these things could be added and then I’d definitely switch from Apple Music, but until then…
