Wonderful
I couldn't have discovered this app at a better time. It really is superb with a wonderful selection of classics. I like that on the apple TV if you do a standard search for actors, Classix results show up too.
I would like to give the app four stars...Sadly some of the 240 streams are a little too low on quality and watching old movies I prefer if their a bit better quality. Would be nice to have a yearly subscription if it meant higher quality, but for £3 please don't think I'm knocking the app... Hence my five star rating because it deserves that for the current price alone.
Good but no way to contact support
My first experience of Classix was pretty positive, and I’ve watched a dozen or so films after deciding to pay for the unlimited access.
One of the classic TV series I was looking forward to watching was Wagon Train, but after paying for the app I can only see 3 episodes, when there were 8 seasons in total. What happened to the rest of the episodes?
Well, I tried to ask by going to the help site, but it’s locked for new support tickets. Also, the site’s privacy policy isn’t working. So my experience is much less positive now than it was, and while there are a lot of old films available, a lot of the TV shows look very patchy and incomplete - and ultimately there is no way to contact support. A shame.
Superb! Jump in
I have only used the app on my devices so far and it works fine. Great selection of old movies, there's a few fillers on there but so what - at £2.99 even if you only see a handful of films you like it's still a bargain. I like this a lot. It would be good if you could download and watch online for plane journeys, etc
