New problem same app

You pay extra money for 1080p and for offline functionality, fine so be it for the price of a beer every month I will take it. However steaming is the problem. I want to watch in 1080p so I select it to 1080p so way does it change quality when I have it set to force 1080p not auto. I don’t care if the vid has to buffer for a few seconds. It’s a terrible app truly it’s taken them years to get to this point. Where really I don’t have many problems other than this at all anymore. Also if I pay for premium I don’t appreciate advertising pop ups in the slightest. Again if i use the setting and want 1080p even if it buffers I don’t care. Don’t have setting if your just going to have Auto on as the only one that works. My internet is good just weak in this part of the house. I know the app works fine with good internet. It’s just it goes from 1080p to 360p then works it way back up over like 10sec. Just give me the buffer wheel of death for a few seconds while the WiFi picks up.

Almost perfect, could be better offline

The Crunchyroll (iOS) mobile experience is good but suffers from poor offline support that would be massively improved with two more key features/fixes:

Support continuing downloads - at the moment, when an episode download is interrupted by losing your WiFi connection, the download errors and you have to start from the beginning. This can be really frustrating when you've waited a while for a downlod just for it to fail right at the end- having more resilience to network interruptions (possibly by using the HTTP Range header to allow resuming downlads) would make the experience far better.
If the app is started in Online mode, even if you have an episode saved offline the app will try to stream it (or at least the player hangs as if trying to make a network request). This is frustrating because even though you've saved the episode offline I'm unable to watch it (when I have poor cellular/wifi speed). The work-around for this is to kill the app, put my phone in aeroplane mode, start the app and choose Offline Viewing, then play the video (and disable aeroplane mode). This is painful and could be avoided by not making network requests when the episode is available offline.

I find it unfair that most series are only able to play 3 english dubbed episodes then force you to watch it in Japanese and what makes things even worse is that every 5-7 minutes there will be 5 30 second long ads that will try make you go premium. i am a person who dosent pay for these kind of stuff but its unfair for them to do this. AND IN SERIES LIKE JJK. YOU CAN ONLY WATCH 1 SEASON FOR FREE AND THE SECOND ONE YOU MUST GO PREMIUM FOR. THIS APP IS SO MONEY THIRSTY ITS ACTUALLY SO ANNOYING. PLEASE MAKE THIS GAME SEEM A LITTLE MORE BETTER FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT WANT TO SPEND MONEY EVERY WEEK TO WATCH SOME ANIME. I understand you must make money somehow but instead of making ads that try to convince you to go premium, limiting the amount of episodes you can watch and giving us 5-6 ads every 5 minutes what about making merchandise ??? i had this app before when it was completely opitional if you wanted to go premium but now its gone out of hand. I desperately ask you to try to make this game a little more playable for people who do not want to spend money on this. (I hope you see this review and maybe give us 2-1 ad max and atleast let us watch series without forcing us to go premium ). thank you for reading this far. (update: i’ve been wanting to watch a certain anime for a while called Death Note but when i go to the episodes it wont even load… please fix this bug and make this anime able to watch without premium
