mymind – Extend your mind 17+

I pay for the premium version and love the basic concept of the app, but there really needs to be more effort to gather direct user feedback. I use the app mostly for products, it would be great to be able to manually change the image of something saved down, as sometimes the auto image of a product page saves the wrong colour etc. Also would be great if the app could track price changes over time of a product saved, so you can see what the price was now vs when you first saved down. And also even notify you of a price change if a product is on sale. Very happy to be part of some direct user testing / brainstorming- please consider it!

Nicely put together app and idea and I can see the value of it but I am currently seeing a few issues - my mind is totally useless without internet connection. Considering one of the big ideas is that it enables uninterrupted undistracted thinking this is a big hole! I do some of my best thinking when out and about often without reliable internet connection. I understand that full blown adding/analysing new notes maybe can’t be done without the AI online engine but I can’t access anything at all in mymind at all without a full connection. When online - I add new text notes either keyed (or shared)and often it seems that key words are not found when searched for.. maybe the Ai needs time to catch up - oddly adding photos seems to index words found for instance on book covers seems to work quickly . So overall not yet convinced enough to shell out on yet another damned subscription

I’ve been using the app for about 6months now and am delighted with how it has slotted into my workflow. I had a very specific painpoint with hundreds of docs, templates, articles, ideas and notes across multiple folders and apps that I needed to access quickly as part of my daily job. After a lengthy uploading and tagging process, I now have a vast library of collated knowledge and resources at my fingertips.

The app sits open on my desktop constantly and I am an occasional app user (iPad and iPhone). It’s been solid for me and thankfully I have no had no stability issues.

I look forward to future updates and the hope to soon have the ability to chat with My Mind to find resources in a more natural manner.
