TickTick:To-Do List, Calendar 4+

have loked at loads of aps and landed on this one. it's a TINY bit clunky compared to some but i find the simplicity of the presentation and also many options within really refreshing. I can choose to make it as simple or complex as i like with kanban boards, timeline and stuff. i wouldnt be put off by learning to use it, it really pays off. i enjoy inputting things. and ticking them off. i'd love if it had a little feature where you grow a garden by doing things from your to do list, or some other silly visual reward. i think you get badges but am not that fussed since im only using it for myself, not in teams. i think it organises really well and i just really like how much i can customise what i see - eg 'today' tomorrow' but not 'priority' or 'next 7 days' if i dont want. makes it very personal and user friendly if as i say, bit of investment of time to set up. also think its cheap for the functionality. and easy to use once you're used to it. the phone version is not the best though, if you're mostly on your phone i'd say probably pick another one. but the laptop bit more than makes up for it. i have adhd and like somewhere to put my tasks and my thoughts on the tasks without making it looks overwhelming is really useful.

Really love that my to-dos and my calendar are now integrated, which is what I desperately needed. This app is simple & easy to use, but also very full-featured for power-users.

It's great to have task descriptions with markup text and the option to add photos & URLs. Sometimes I'll add a photo to motivate me to do a task.

I also love the 'focus feature', which logs the time you spend on tasks either as a stopwatch or in 'pomos' (short bursts with breaks, e.g. 30 mins) - I find this motivates me to focus & build up that time spent so I can look back & be proud. The white noise feature also helps give me an auditory signal that it's time to focus.

I'm going to recommend it to my mum as she could use the sharing feature to monitor tasks her employees need to be doing.

Other helpful features include tagging, a habit tracker, Kanban boards & a timeline view.

There are some little niggles & bugs, but nothing major. I wish that text was more compact in the UI & that themes were a bit more stylish, with understated colours & classy photos, rather than bright colours & intrusive, clip-art type graphics. For this reason, I just have a very plain theme. But overall, it's a great app & I'm glad I found it.

Love this app. I’ve been looking for something like this for a while and I’ve tried numerous applications in the past like Microsoft To-Do, Todoist, and other popular ones but none of them seem to just tick all the right boxes. TickTick checks off more than any other. From great integration between mobile app to desktop (MacOS), to the mini icon in the menu bar for quick access, to habit tracking, categorising using tags and lists, ability to set repeating tasks as well as subtasks and tasks with multiple tasks within it if needed. Use this for both personal and work organisation and id works wonders for my hectic schedule and plethora of tasks. Amazing for the price.
