Viu Premium - very bad
I keep watching one drama ep, it will suddenly half-way stopped & even I pressed re-play, it doesn’t move at all. I need to kill the apps running & re-load to look back history to continue my drama series!! This happened many times, I just signed up Viu Pemium thru Singtel/annual contract this month, can’t even have any chance to cancel the premium service at all because Singtel will charge cancellation termination subscription of exactly annual cost! For such service, I need to tie down with Singtel for a year!!!
App works weirdly recently
Have been using Viu premium for almost 2 years and has been satisfied with it until these recent months. I used to turn off mobile data for the app so when I’m outside I can watch my downloaded shows but recently the app started to use my mobile data even when it’s disabled in settings? The app also hangs very frequently; esp after watching my downloaded videos, the next time I open the app it hangs and I have to close and open it again. It’s even worse on tv, keeps showing network error and some shows load but some doesn’t? Have to open and close the app several times for it to work. The most annoying is how one episode doesn’t load but the next one is okay? Might reconsider renewing my premium membership if this carries on

TV casting issue
Been subscribing to Viu for 2 years and recently it has been frustrating to use the app. I am unable to cast the program to my TV through Chrome cast (no issues in the past) and was told Viu is working on it. With the recent update of the app, I thought it would have solve the problem. Still, it did not. Few months have passed and I really wonder how much more time it's required to work on this. Investment and speed in technology is important especially when it comes to offering services to users. As a business, you need to prioritise and fix what is necessary especially when you have received umpteen feedback from others before me. Pls fix this soon.
